Ernesto Bravo

@ President of Tecma’s West Division

Ernesto Bravo is President of Tecma’s West Division, which spans the company’s operations in the Southern California and Baja California megaregion.  He has 10 years of successful leadership experience in the Mexico manufacturing shelter services industry, with a focus on supporting the success of our Clients, including while running the fast-growing operations of Border Assembly, a Shelter Services Company that was acquired by Tecma in 2016.  Since then, he has led the continued development of Tecma in Baja California as the industry has undergone extensive changes in recent years, and as our company has grown to support over 35 Client operations in Baja California.  Born in San Diego and raised in Tijuana, his education was on both sides of the border in Tijuana, San Diego and Santa Clara University.

With a strong bilingual and bicultural background, Ernesto also has 15+ years of experience with multinational corporations.  He ran product development, marketing, and country management for a major consumer electronics brand in Latin America, and Canada, as well as managed a high growth consumer electronics product category in the US.

Ernesto is a strong proponent of the manufacturing industry in our cross-border region, currently serving as Chairman of the International Business Affairs office for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and having served on the board of the Tijuana Economic Development Council.
